Job summary

MAG Manchester Airports Group is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer (Technology) to join our Group Procurement & Contracts team. You will manage and optimise MAG’s technology spend, covering software, SaaS, cloud services and IT transformation programs.

Based at Manchester Airport with hybrid working (3 days per week in the office), you will partner with Technology, Finance and Legal to deliver strategic sourcing, cost savings and supplier performance improvements across MAG and its partners.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience with a strong focus on technology, software, SaaS, and cloud services.
• Experience leading complex sourcing and commercial negotiations in a category-managed environment.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a broad technology portfolio including software, SaaS and cloud services.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage competitive tenders, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and influence decisions.
• Deliver savings and value through procurement initiatives and supplier optimisation.
• Monitor technology markets to identify opportunities and emerging suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement governance and applicable acts.
