Qualifications

• Experience in media relations and securing coverage for clients.
• Strong writing skills for press releases, pitches, op-eds and briefs.
• Experience communicating with clients on calls and through emails/updates.
• Ability to spot media opportunities and contribute to proactive accounts.
• Collaborative team player with good time management and organisation.
• High initiative, energy and integrity to drive award-winning work.

Responsibilities

• Pitch regularly across B2B, national and lifestyle media to secure coverage for clients.
• Write press releases, media pitches, op-eds and social briefs for clients.
• Liaise with clients on weekly calls and draft project updates.
• Identify media opportunities and develop proactive strategies for accounts.
• Keep comprehensive notes, deliver weekly reports, and manage accounts efficiently.
• Foster UK media landscape awareness and share relevant journalist insights with the team.
• Collaborate within Axicom and participate in broader agency initiatives.
