Job summary

Nearform is looking for a Technical Lead to guide development teams and work directly with clients in the United Kingdom. This role encompasses responsibility for technical delivery and mentoring, requiring significant software engineering expertise, especially in Python.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and a strong understanding of agile methodologies.

Success in this role includes shaping architectural decisions, ensuring best practices, and providing updates to clients and leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software engineering with 2+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience in AI application development and Agentic frameworks.
• Proven experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong CI/CD experience including hands-on work with Terraform and Helm.
• Deep understanding of observability practices using OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Take responsibility for successful project delivery.
• Identify and resolve blockers proactively.
