The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Managing delivery of the technical roadmap, forecasting dependencies, and helping to unblock the team.
• Understanding the long-term production strategy for calibration and aligning the technical roadmap accordingly.
• Balancing operational requirements with long-term roadmap delivery.
• Defining SLAs for calibration in collaboration with technical stakeholders.
• Handling fleet scaling and increasing pipeline automation, monitoring, and observability.
• Setting up the calibration pipeline for scalability and modularity, making it platform-agnostic.

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Essential

• Technical leadership in multi-modal calibration, SLAM, computer vision, estimation, with experience in scalable, automated pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience working with product and program teams to plan, prioritize, and adapt to changing needs.
• Strategic prioritization skills, balancing architecture with support needs, making data-driven trade-offs.

Desirable

• Experience building calibration systems for sensor suites in autonomous driving or robotics.
• Creating calibration systems in the cloud and in real-time/on-robot.
• Experience taking proof-of-concept algorithms to production.
• Knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion algorithms, and nonlinear optimization.
