About the Role:
Providing technical leadership to one of our product-based development squads you’ll be responsible for delivering one of Acorn’s market leading specialist insurance products.

About the Role:
Providing technical leadership to one of our product-based development squads you’ll be responsible for delivering one of Acorn’s market leading specialist insurance products.
You should have strong full stack development knowledge in React and C# (.NET 8) to enable you to lead the development of software in one of our existing front-end technologies.
You’ll need to be strong team leader and problem solver, keen to continuously learn and adapt.
What you will be doing:
- Cutting quality code built to specification
- Providing technical leadership to developers in your squad
- Providing technical guidance to product managers, project manager and business analysts
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Contributing to daily scrum meetings
- Demonstrating your working software
- Contributing to sprint planning with tasks and estimations
- Being part of the wider Acorn development community
Ideal Tech Lead Skills & Experience:
- Experience of leading a small team of developers/scrum team
- C#
- .NET Core plus knowledge of Framework
- Web API experience
- Micro-service experience/understanding
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- SQL/SQL Server
- React
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
It would be very beneficial to have experience of some of the following technologies and patterns:
- Clean Architecture
- Mediator Pattern
- MassTransit
- General experience in highly data intensive applications
- Keycloak
