Job description

Providing technical leadership to one of our product-based development squads you’ll be responsible for delivering one of Acorn’s market leading specialist insurance products.

You should have strong full stack development knowledge in React and C# (.NET 8) to enable you to lead the development of software in one of our existing front-end technologies.

You’ll need to be strong team leader and problem solver, keen to continuously learn and adapt.

What you will be doing:

• Cutting quality code built to specification
• Providing technical leadership to developers in your squad
• Providing technical guidance to product managers, project manager and business analysts
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Contributing to daily scrum meetings
• Demonstrating your working software
• Contributing to sprint planning with tasks and estimations
• Being part of the wider Acorn development community

Ideal Tech Lead Skills & Experience:

• Experience of leading a small team of developers/scrum team
• C#
• .NET Core plus knowledge of Framework
