Job summary

Red Badger is seeking a Tech Lead for Data & AI based in Leeds. The role combines hands-on data engineering with leadership, guiding a team through discovery to production of complex data solutions for blue chip clients.

You will work with AWS/Azure services, Databricks and Snowflake, pairing with engineers and collaborating with delivery and product teams to ensure high-quality software and client value.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data & AI solutions across AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on data engineering with SQL, Python, PySpark or Scala.
• Ability to lead, mentor and manage data engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering teams to deliver client projects from discovery to production.
• Partner with Delivery Leads and Product Owners to shape technical solutions.
• Support and mentor engineers, and drive agile delivery practices.
