Job summary
E-Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive a legacy migration programme from AS/400 to Azure and .NET, using AI to accelerate development. You will define system design, make technology decisions, and present rationale to Architects and business stakeholders.
The role requires hands-on leadership, strong experience with Azure/.NET, and familiarity with GenAI/Agentic AI. The position is based in Sutton with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
Qualifications
- Experience with migrating legacy systems to Azure/.NET.
- Proven track record in large migration projects (AS/400 or similar).
- Experience with GenAI or Agentic AI for development is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Define system design and technology decisions for migration.
- Coordinate with architects and stakeholders on migration strategy.
- Lead development teams using AI-driven approaches.

A global organisation are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to work on a legacy migration programme, moving a distributed system from AS/400 to Azure and .Net using AI for development.
As the Tech Lead you will be responsible for system design as well as technology and framework decisions, you will provide rationale to Architects and business stakeholders and must be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience in the decision making process on large migration projects.
You must have experience of working on legacy migrations from AS/400 (or similar) to modern .Net and Azure technology.
You will also need experience using GenAI / Agentic AI for development, any experience using Spec Driven Development (SDD) is beneficial.
This 6 month+ contract role is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting transformation programme and be responsible for building future proof solutions.
