Job summary

Dizplai in Manchester is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to guide a small team of engineers building cloud-native products that deliver real business value. This hands-on leadership role combines software engineering with coaching, architectural decisions, and delivery leadership.

You'll champion AI-enabled development, ensure scalable and secure solutions on AWS, and partner with Product and Design to turn priorities into tangible outcomes.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced (or step-up!) Tech Lead to run a small, high-performing team of engineers building products that deliver real business and customer value.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll combine software engineering expertise with coaching, technical decision-making and delivery leadership. You'll help your team move quickly, build with confidence and take ownership of the products they create.

• A strong software engineering background with experience delivering production systems
• Previous experience leading engineers or small delivery teams
• Practical AWS and cloud-native architecture experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and modern engineering practices
• Experience working within Agile product teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using AI tools to enhance software delivery and engineering workflows

• Serverless or event-driven architectures
