It’s an exciting time to join Partful! Due to an increase in customer demand, we are building a brand new tech team to expand our product roadmap capability and shape the delivery of market accessible features.

As our Tech Lead you will drive our feature development utilising your technical expertise in web application development with React and AWS services, including AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CDK. You will play a pivotal role in a cross-functional team, leveraging your leadership and problem solving skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex solutions.

You will love being hands on and have a passion for building software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be adept at evolving and optimising technical architectures in response to changing requirements.

In This Role You Will

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications.
• Utilise your deep knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CDK to architect and optimise the serverless infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, comprising of sales, marketing, customer success, product, UX and agile delivery.
• Help resolve complex technical challenges and make decisive decisions to keep development on track.
• Manage the development team, including task assignment, coaching, and ensuring adherence to best practices and a high standard of software quality.
• Lead by example through hands-on coding and software development.
• Contribute to the evolution of the serverless architecture in AWS, ensuring it remains robust, scalable, and efficient.
  
  

Skills Required For The Role

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years commercial experience with Typescript or Javascript
• Proven commercial experience of working with React, NodeJS and Python
• Prior experience in a technical leadership role. You will be guiding a team of talented engineers - not just managing, you will coach and inspire our developers and guide them in their career with Partful.
• Strong expertise in AWS services - developing, deploying and monitoring applications with Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CodePipeline
• NoSQL and relational data modelling
• Automated unit and acceptance testing (ideally React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress)
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (e.g. CodePipeline, CircleCI, BitBucket.
