Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC is seeking a Head of Technology GRC to lead the Group Technology GRC function, delivering governance, risk management and assurance across technology platforms. You will set priorities, drive policy and controls, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across the Group.

The role emphasizes senior leadership, independent challenge, and building a mature second-line function to support risk-aware decision-making and compliant technology delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Technology GRC or IT audit function.
• Strong understanding of technology risk, governance and controls.
• 10+ years in governance, risk, compliance, or audit with leadership experience.
• UK regulatory knowledge incl. data protection, AI governance, PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Group Technology GRC function.
• Set priorities across the GRC portfolio with clear ownership and delivery measures.
• Define governance, policy, compliance and assurance services across the Group.
• Oversee third-party technology risk management and supplier assurance.
• Embed Controls by Design and governance across the technology lifecycle.
