Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Postgraduate teaching qualification or Advance HE membership desirable.
  • Experience designing or evaluating technology-based learning and simulation in education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology-enhanced learning and simulation activities using OU resources.
  • Identify and apply technologies such as VR, XR, AI-supported learning tools, and digital simulations.
  • Collaborate with academics, learning designers, and specialists to develop learning assets.
  • Ensure resources are pedagogically sound and aligned with assessment requirements.
  • Create accessible, distance-learning materials for diverse learners.
  • Contribute expertise on educational tech, simulation and AI to curricula.
  • Deliver project outputs on time and within constraints.
