Job summary

Unity Advisory in the UK is seeking a Manager to lead a portfolio in its corporate tax team from London or Manchester. You will manage advisory and compliance engagements, helping CFOs and tax teams navigate tax obligations and business change.

You will apply AI and data-driven tools to improve analysis, delivery, and reporting, while coaching junior staff and shaping how services are delivered. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong UK corporate tax knowledge with experience in advisory and compliance.
• Confident using data and digital tools, with interest in AI and automation.
• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in corporate tax from in-house or advisory environment, including reviewing juniors.
• Clear communication and ability to explain complex issues commercially.
• Organised with sound judgement and ability to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of corporate tax clients as main contact.
• Deliver advice on corporate structuring, reorganisations and tax planning with senior support on complex matters.
• Use AI, automation and data analysis to improve delivery and ensure quality outputs.
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations, returns and technical reports, meet deadlines and assess risks.
• Handle HMRC correspondence and enquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Support transaction-related projects with M&A Tax and Deals teams.
• Coach junior colleagues and manage engagement budgets and resources.
• Identify opportunities to support clients and contribute to proposals and pitches.
