Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a Teamcenter Solution Architect for an initial 3-6 month contract in the defence sector. The role is predominantly remote with periodic on-site days in the Preston/Warton area, and requires active SC clearance.

You will shape the Teamcenter solution from concept to architecture, define data models and BMIDE configurations, and provide technical leadership across delivery teams to ensure design alignment with programme goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teamcenter Solution Architect or Lead Architect.
• Experience shaping solutions from concept to architecture.
• Deep Teamcenter knowledge across data models, BMIDE, BOM, change management and access control.
• Proven NX integration experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to guide technical teams and influence stakeholders.
• Active SC clearance and willingness to attend site in Preston/Warton area.

• Define the approach to data models, BMIDE configuration, BOM management, change management and access control.
• Design and guide NX integration with Teamcenter.

• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, ensuring delivery remains aligned with the agreed design.

Outside IR35 | Predominantly Remote | Defence

Initial contract: 3-6 months on a multi-year programme

Location: Remote, with 1-2 days on site every two weeks in the Preston/Warton area

Day rate: Flexible, dependent on experience

Security clearance: Active SC essential; DV advantageous
