Job summary

Worcestershire County Council in Worcestershire is seeking a Team Supervisor for the Reablement Service to lead and develop a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to safeguarding, and a commitment to quality improvement. 37 hours per week, permanent contract with a salary of £31,537–£33,699 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading or supervising teams and managing performance effectively.
• Knowledge of Reablement principles and person-centred practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to chair meetings and produce professional reports.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to supporting and developing staff.
• Experience with quality assurance processes and continuous improvement.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and databases.
• Proactive, resilient and professional approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants.

• Participate in a duty rota to support service delivery across 7 days a week.
• Collaborate with colleagues, partner agencies and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction and training activities
