About the Role

Reablement is a 7‑day service (7 am – 10 pm every day) covering all areas of Warwickshire – with North and South bases. The role works on a rolling rota: 2 weeks 7 am‑2:30 pm, 1 week 2:30 pm‑10 pm, including every other weekend and bank holidays. Working hours are 25 per week, spread over 5 days (you’ll be available for the full shift but work 5 hours).

Pay starts at £12.59 per hour, rising to £13.47 per hour with Sunday and bank‑holiday enhancements. A mileage allowance of 45 pence per mile is provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to a variety of customers who may find parts of their daily routine difficult.
  • Follow personalised care plans to encourage and motivate customers, enabling them to regain skills for washing, dressing, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Key Requirements
  • Must have a full driver’s licence and access to a private car.
  • Availability to work the rota described above, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Strong communication skills – the role’s fluency duty requires accurate spoken English.
  • Pre‑engagement checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
  • Pass a short fluency test to confirm English language proficiency.
