Job summary

Your Space Royston is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers and members, delivering excellent service and keeping the reception running smoothly.

You will handle inquiries in person, by phone and email, manage admissions, cash handling, and share information on classes and events while contributing to a welcoming, well‑structured leisure environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or reception role is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of cash handling and operating till systems is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Reception team at Your Space Royston. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our reception area.

Shifts for this role are detailed below

Position 1: Average 6.16 hours per week

Week 1: Tuesday 08.00 - 14.00

Week 2: Tuesday 08.00 - 14.00

Week 3:Sunday 08.00 - 15.00

Position 2: Casual "as & when required" hours per week
