Job summary
Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Lofthouse is seeking a Team Member for its soft play area. You will maintain high play standards for children, ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere, and assist parents with requests while staying friendly and organised.
You will respond to guest queries, handle telephone inquiries, and promote the site's facilities. Long-term opportunities include hosting birthday parties and contributing to sales of food and drinks.
Qualifications
- Love working with children and a good sense of humour are essential.
- Be friendly and professional when answering guest queries.
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy soft play environment.

It goes without saying that you must love working with children, have a good sense of humour and be a responsible and organised person.
Due
to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undergo a
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.
WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE:
Answering guest queries on products, prices & house facilities/activities
Dealing with enquiries by telephone in a warm & friendly manner, endeavouring at all times to accommodate their requests
Ensure a clean & tidy environment at all times & ensure that the reception area is tidy & ready for service at all times
Help create a fun, exciting & safe environment so that every guest leaves wanting to return
Help run children’s Birthday parties, taking control and interacting with the children
Selling of various food and drink items to guests
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR SOFT PLAY TEAM MEMBERS:
Someone who is able to adapt behaviour to different situations
Who also is able to generate ideas to increase sales/improve standards
Who also has the ability to work within an already amazing team!
Someone who has the ability to manage and control large groups of guests.
Oh and not forgetting, enjoys working with children!
