Job summary

Mecca is hiring a Team Member in Burton upon Trent to greet customers, serve great food and drinks, and keep the venue buzzing from first hello to final game. You’ll follow clear standards, support across areas, and escalate issues when needed.

You’ll be the friendly face on the floor, delivering welcoming service in a busy hospitality environment. Training provided, with progression opportunities and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Customer first attitude with great people skills; friendly, upbeat, and helpful.
• Pace & focus in a busy environment; organised with good attention to detail.
• Team player energy - clear communication and willingness to learn on shift.
• Experience: previous customer service experience in hospitality/retail/leisure is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet, serve, and support customers so every visit feels special.
• Keep queues moving, tables clear, and venue tidy between sessions.
• Explain games and keep energy high around the venue.
• Follow health and safety, food hygiene, licensing and safer gambling procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Collaborate across Front of House, Food & Beverage, cleaning to ensure smooth service.
