Job summary

GMMH Psychological Therapies Division in Bolton is seeking a Clinical Team Manager to lead the Talking Therapies service, provide line management supervision, and deputise for the Operational Manager. You will work with HR on staff development, chair team meetings, drive recruitment and retention, and support service development across Greater Manchester.

You will join an established management team with strong support and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy clinical service in adult mental health.
• Ability to provide line management supervision and support complex casework.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
• Experience implementing HR policies and staff development programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the Talking Therapies service.

GMMH Psychological Therapies Division is a large Talking Therapies reporting service for people experiencing common mental health disorders. We consist of Psychological wellbeing practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, Mental Health Practitioners and Psychologists, We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and motivated individual to work as a Clinical Team Manager in our Talking Therapies service. We have a fixed term position available in our Bolton Talking Therapies Service., In this role you will assist with the day-to-day management and leadership of these well established services. In this role you will provide line management supervision to staff within the service and deputise for/support the Operational Manager with other aspects of service development and delivery. You will be involved in the recruitment, training and retention of staff. You will work closely with HR to support staff within the team and to implement HR policies where required. You will chair Team Meetings and support the ongoing development of the team through identifying learning opportunities with the wider management team. The successful applicant will join an established management team, where they will experience close support and will benefit from ongoing training and development.,

• Full understanding of the role of a manager in an TT Service
  experience working in a leadership role
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team, Previous experience of managing a busy service including offering 1:1 LM
• Experience of change management
• Experience working within a TT Service, Good knowledge of Safeguarding and Risk Management
