Job summary

Morrisons Team Manager role overseeing production teams with a focus on driving results, staff engagement and high standards of cost control and welfare.

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will set targets, review progress and implement action plans to improve performance while coaching staff for growth and ensuring attendance standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Management/supervisory experience within a large-scale production operation, ideally across Food Manufacturing.
• Ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistency in service to customers, and will demonstrate your problem solving abilities.
• A proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
• An understanding of cost models and experience of budgetary control and understanding pest control management.

Responsibilities

• Set performance targets and review progress, creating action plans to improve performance (including reducing costs and improving standards).
• Look for solutions to problems and drive continuous improvement strategies.
• Spot and develop talent in your team through coaching and guidance.

• Allocate tasks and hold daily shift briefs.
