Team Manager – No Resource to Public Fund Team
Sanctuary Personnel, a recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Team Manager within the No Resource to Public Fund Team to work full time based in Haringey.
The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is up to £57,102 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the team and ensure the service provided is of the highest professional standards and is responsive to legislative requirements as well as corporate and national policies.
- Prioritize and allocate work within the available resources.
- Maintain the team’s record keeping to a high standard and make managerial decisions promptly within the appropriate frameworks.
- Provide regular, high-quality, challenging, and reflective supervision of staff within agreed timescales and according to the departmental policy.
- Evaluate staff performance, including conducting probationary assessments, performance appraisals, sickness absence procedures, and other relevant procedures.
- Develop a service consistent with models of partnership working with other agencies, children, and their families to enable children to stay safely at home wherever possible.
- Work with managers in and across the children and young people’s service to ensure children receive a seamless and holistic response to their needs.
- Undertake all work activities ensuring that the Council’s policies (including equalities) are adhered to and that the organisational values are upheld.
- Take the lead role for defined areas of service, deputise for the line manager, and ensure that all decisions are taken at an appropriate level and senior managers informed of identified risk, as and when necessary.
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required and assigned by the service.
Requirements of a Team Manager:
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Past experience within a management role.
- Understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines to ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection, and other statutory requirements.
- Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England) is required.
