A council in Merseyside is currently seeking a Team Manager for their Family Help and Protection Service, covering Child Protection Plans, Child in Need, and Care Proceedings after assessment, to ensure appropriate plans and support are in place for children and their families.
You will manage an Assistant Team Manager, a team of 6 social workers, and 1 Social Work Assistant. You will be part of a Management Team of 9 Managers, working closely together and providing peer support as needed.
Requirements include a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience and two years working with children and families, including supervision experience.
You will receive regular supervision, opportunities to participate in internal and external activities, and ongoing support, development, and career progression opportunities.
