Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead Liverpool Council's Family Help Service. You will provide direct line management to Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and Outreach Family Support Workers, ensuring high-quality practice and child-centred interventions.

The role offers hybrid working, strong senior management support, and opportunities to influence outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management and professional support to Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and Outreach Family Support Workers to ensure effective supervision and high-quality practice.
• Oversee cases and support the team to deliver child-centred interventions that improve outcomes for children and families.
• Promote reflective practice and consistent decision-making in collaboration with senior staff.
• Monitor staff development and health and safety within the team.

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for aTeam Managerto join Liverpool Council’sFamily Help Service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional to provide effective leadership, management, and oversight to a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and Outreach Family Support Workers. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality practice, effective supervision, and positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Team Manager within the Family Help Service, you will provide direct line management and professional support to Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and Outreach Family Support Workers. You will ensure effective supervision arrangements are in place, provide management oversight on cases, and support your team to deliver high-quality, child-centred interventions that improve outcomes for children and young people.

You will be responsible for maintaining standards of practice, supporting performance management, monitoring staff development, and ensuring the health and safety of your team. Working closely with Consultant Social Workers, you will promote reflective practice, effective decision-making, and consistent approaches to supporting children and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Social Work England registration
