Job summary

Slough Children First is seeking a dynamic Team Manager for our Assessment & Intervention Service to lead a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers in the delivery of statutory duties, safeguarding children, and promoting welfare.

You must be a Social Work England registered social worker with a professional social work qualification and substantial post-qualification experience in children and families. We operate on a hybrid basis with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

At SCF, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. Our Assessment & Intervention Service plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of children and families.

As one of our Team Managers, you’ll lead a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers in the delivery of our statutory and legislative duties, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment, whilst promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Slough whilst effectively managing risk.

You will need to be a Social Work England registered social worker with a professional social work qualification. And you will have substantial post-qualification experience in children and families social work, with a collaborative and supportive approach.

We work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.
