A leading company is seeking a Team Manager for its Family Safeguarding Service in Peterborough. This role is dedicated to ensuring the welfare of vulnerable children through effective team management, supervision of social work staff, and collaboration with connected services. Candidates must possess a Social Work qualification, a solid track record of management in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to positive outcomes for the families served.
We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Family Safeguarding Service.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 1 year's management experience.
This is a close-knit team responsible for making decisions and performing statutory functions to ensure the correct outcomes for children and their families, particularly for the most vulnerable children in the service. The role involves providing advice and skills in the day-to-day running of the team, supervising social workers and other unqualified professionals, and reporting to senior management on performance. Working effectively with connected services is essential to achieving the best outcomes for every case.
Knowledge and experience working within a fast-paced Frontline Team such as Child Protection and Referral & Assessment is essential. You will also hold a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience.
You must have a Social Work England registration and access to your own vehicle.
