Job summary

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a full‑time Team Manager within Care at Home Services to provide strong professional leadership, governance and accountability for a team of Locality Lead Officers, Home care co‑ordinators and other staff.

You will lead the delivery of strategic and statutory priorities at locality level, ensuring high standards of practice, effective risk management and robust decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Hold SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9 or equivalent.
  • Management SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
  • Experience supervising, supporting and developing staff with workload management.
  • Commitment to safe, high‑quality care and compliance with National Care Standards.

Team Manager – Care at Home Services (Permanent).

Salary: FC10 £57,196.54 – £62,583.94. Working pattern: 36 hours per week. Location: Based at Bankhead but working Fife wide. Closing date: 26 July 2026.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care Partnership for a full‑time Team Manager within Care at Home Services. You will provide strong professional and operational leadership, with clear accountability for the performance, quality and governance of services delivered by a team of Locality Lead Officers, Home care co‑ordinators and other staff. Working closely with Service Managers and senior colleagues, you will lead the delivery of strategic and statutory priorities at locality level, ensuring high standards of practice, effective risk management and robust decision‑making while providing regular supervision, guidance and leadership to support staff in delivering positive, person‑centred outcomes for people who use services and their families.

  • Lead workforce development: identify learning needs, support continuous professional development, promote reflective practice and build a skilled, resilient and motivated workforce.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement in line with Fife Health and Social Care Partnership priorities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Hold SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9, Management SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
  • Experience supervising, supporting and developing staff, including effective workload management and performance conversations.
  • Ability to assess and manage risk, make defensible decisions and provide clear professional oversight of complex casework.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality care that meets individual needs and complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the National Care Standards.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel across Fife as required.
  • Must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland before appointment.
  • Role requires SSSC registration. Successful applicant will need to apply within six months of appointment and complete any required qualification within the specified timeframe.
