Job summary

Lighthouse Club, in partnership with Riverside School, seeks a Team Leader for BR6 duties in Orpington, Kent. The role runs play clubs on Saturdays and during school holidays, with clubs open 10am–4pm and Team Leaders working 9:15am–4:15pm.

Casual contracts pay £14.52 per hour plus holiday allowance. Previous experience is preferred; a patient, understanding approach is essential. References, DBS clearance and health clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in youth clubs or similar activities is advantageous.
• A patient and understanding nature is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Saturday and holiday play clubs for children aged 5 to 18.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare with DBS and health clearance.

Location: Riverside School Main Road, St. Pauls Cray, Orpington,Kent BR5 3HS

Lighthouse Club operates Saturday and holiday play clubsunder contract for the London Borough of Bromley. Our aim is to provide a widerange of activities with an emphasis on fun to meet the varied and complexneeds of the children aged 5 to 18.

Clubs run for two Saturdays per month during term timeand in the school holidays. The Club isopen to children from 10am until 4pm. Team Leaders will work from 9.15am until4.15pm.

All staff are recruited on casual contracts and paidfor hours worked which would be agreed in advance.

Previous experience would be an advantage and a patientand understanding nature are essential.
