Job summary

Riverside School Lighthouse Club in Orpington is inviting applications for a Lighthouse Club Manager. This fixed-term role runs until 31.03.2028 with potential to extend and is based at the St Paul’s Cray site.

The role requires managing Saturday clubs two per month during term time and occasional holiday sessions, 10am to 4pm, and working with a range of stakeholders to support development.

All appointments are subject to references, DBS clearance, health clearance, and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a club or youth programme.
• Experience with children and young people with complex needs.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• DBS check and safeguarding clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Lighthouse Club.
• Coordinate Saturday clubs and holiday club sessions.
• Liaise with school staff and external partners.
• Ensure safeguarding and health clearance compliance.

We are currently recruiting for the following vacancy

Lighthouse Club Manager

BR10-11, 28.8 hours per week, all year round

Riverside School operates Saturday Clubs and holiday clubs under contract for the London Borough of Bromley. Our aim is to provide a wide range of differentiated activities with an emphasis on fun to meet the varied and complex needs of our pupils aged 5 to 18.

Our Lighthouse club runs for two Saturdays per month during term time and also on some dates during the school holidays. The extended service club is open from 10am until 4pm. We require a Lighthouse Club Manager who is able to work with a wide range of stakeholders to support the day to day management of the Club and its future development.

Riverside School operates on four sites, however the Lighthouse club only takes place at our St Paul’s Cray site in Orpington. Previous experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs, plus experience within a leadership role would be an advantage.
