Job summary

Optimal Living Limited in Swindon is seeking a Team Leader in Supported Living (Learning Disabilities & Autism). You will lead a small, dedicated team to help adults live independently with dignity, choice and high-quality, person-centred care.

This hands-on leadership role covers shift coordination, staff development and compliance with policies and CQC standards, with clear progression paths to deputy and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior support worker or team leader role within adult health and social care.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate.
• Experience delivering person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the staff team, acting as a positive role model
• Deliver and role-model high-quality, person-centred care
• Oversee day-to-day service operations and ensure policy compliance
• Promote choice, independence, dignity and wellbeing for people we support
• Maintain communication with families, professionals and managers
• Support rota management, shift cover and on-call duties
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and records are accurate
• Help create a positive, supportive team environment
