Job summary

Radis Community Care's Grantham Supported Living Service is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to guide a small team caring for young female adults with learning disabilities aged 18-22. The role requires a female candidate due to residents' needs and a driving licence to access community activities.

The successful applicant will work with office colleagues to ensure high standards of care and compliance with care plans and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care for at least 1 year.
• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.
• Driving licence to access community activities.
• Female candidate required due to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service runs smoothly and maintains high standard of care.
• Complete and update Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts, and 1-page profiles.
• Support workers, conduct monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks and assessments.

Are you currently working as a Senior suppor worker within a Supported Living or Mental Health setting who wishes to take the next steps in your career?

Radis Community Care are actively recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Grantham Supported Living Service.

Our Supported Living Service in Grantham is home to 3 young female adults with Learning Disabilities aged 18 years to 22 years.. They enjoy various activities, many social events and outings together as well as having their own individual interests . We require caring and considerate people to support these young adults to enjoy each day to the full. For this role, a female Team leader is required due to the ladies' requirements. Driving licence required to be able to access the community.

We support a range of different people who live with health conditions such as mental health, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour as well as other health condition.

What will you be doing as a Team Leader?

As a Team Leader you will be working alongside the office team to ensure that service runs smoothly and ensuring we provide an excellent standard of care to all people we support within the service. You will be ensuring that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts, 1 page profiles and other paperwork are completed and updated on a regular basis. You will also be working alongside Support Workers supporting with direct support visits when required as well as completing monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks and support workers assessments.

You will also be working with the people we support to ensure they get the most out of support from Radis.

Shifts

Be able to complete a range of shift patterns such as

• 07:00 - 14.30
• 14:30 - 22:00
• Alternative Weekends via oncall
• 1 admin day on a Monday which is office based.

Requirements

• Most importantly we are looking for somebody that has the right values and have a genuine desire to make sure te people we get the best possible support
• You would of worked in the health and social care sector for a minimum of 1 year as well as worked in a similar Supported Living or Mental Health setting.
• Be willing to take part in an Oncall Rota
• Currently hold or working towards a NVQ Level 3
