Job summary

Direct Table Foods Ltd is seeking a capable Sausage Process Team Leader to run the production line at our Bury St Edmunds site. You will lead a team, ensure targets are met, and maintain product quality and safety standards during busy shifts.

The role offers a stable daytime schedule (6:00–14:30, Monday to Friday) with a Living Wage, permanent contract and opportunities for development. Overtime paid at time and a half; on-site canteen and parking available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the process room staff and ensure that targets are met
• Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards
• Train and supervise process workers, ensuring that they are following safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Maintain production records and report any issues to management
• Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are reported immediately
• Ensure that the production area is clean and organized at all times
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team is operating efficiently, meeting production targets, and maintaining product quality. As a Sausage process Team Leader, you will lead a team of workers, ensuring that they are following safety protocols and standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining production records and reporting any issues to management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process room staff and ensure that targets are met
• Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards
• Train and supervise process workers, ensuring that they are following safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Maintain production records and report any issues to management
