Join to apply for the Team Leader Pre-Assessment role at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join the Pre-Assessment Team as Team Leader.

The candidate should be motivated, a team player, and dedicated to providing high standards of care, safety, and practice for patients.

The post holder will be responsible for the overall management of the pre-assessment team and staff development. They will serve as a professional role model, providing visible leadership and being an expert clinical practitioner.

The post holder will work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure appropriate pre-assessment of patients before surgery.

By joining the team, you will bring your knowledge and experience to support the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overall management of the Pre-Assessment team, including staff sickness and performance management.
2. Ensure the smooth running of Pre-Assessment clinics, supporting clinics and staff, and collaborating with MDT members like Anaesthetists to assess patient fitness for surgery.
3. Maintain the department's budget and monitor expenditure.
4. Undertake professional development and training to progress the service.
5. Provide high standards of holistic, patient-centered care.
