Job Details

• Monday - Friday
• 8am - 5pm
• Up to £32k per annum
• Permanent position
• Must have a background in the Social Housing industry

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of housing officers, ensuring high performance, morale, and professional development.
• Oversee the management of social housing properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet legal standards.
• Manage calls on the system and operatives' diaries.
• Handle general administration tasks.
• Plan repairs and maintenance requests to relevant operatives.
• Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are effectively utilized.
• Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients.
• Ensure worksheet receipt and accuracy for document control.
• Work towards individual and client KPIs.
• Manage council and private housing contracts, scheduling routine, essential, and emergency maintenance works.
• Track and monitor jobs to completion.
• Coordinate with in-house and third-party engineers, tradesmen, and council operatives for scheduling, materials, and logistics.
• Organize external supply companies.
• Ensure all trades are prepared and works are completed on time according to client deadlines.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with collaboration among stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and tradespeople.
