Job summary

Glassmoon Services Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Team Leader to manage a service that combines direct support with leadership duties. The role involves guiding a care team, ensuring person-centred care, and promoting best practices across the service.

The successful candidate will lead on delivering care, maintaining safety and compliance, and supporting people to maintain skills and interests within the person-led model. Driver preferred and UK Right to Work required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent; at least one year of post-qualification experience.
• Willingness to work towards Leader in Adult Care, Level 5.
• Right to Work in the UK; satisfactory criminal records checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager to enable individuals to live their best lives, building confidence and supporting person-centred care.
• Provide leadership to the care team within Glassmoon Services Ltd.
• Deliver care in line with best practice, policies and standards under supervision.
• Supervise the service allocated to you and ensure safety checks and documentation are completed.
• Support people to maintain skills and personal interests within the person-led delivery model.
