Job summary

Shaw Healthcare seeks a Residential Team Leader to join Brynhyfryd in Builth Wells for night shifts on a 48 hour contract. You will lead a dedicated care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care to residents, with emphasis on safety and wellbeing.

You'll oversee medication administration, care planning and liaison with relatives and healthcare professionals, while maintaining high standards and supporting the wellbeing of the team and residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
• Promoting best practice at all times.
• Safely administering and recording medication in line with company policies.
• Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation.

About the Role

As a Residential Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where residents receive outstanding care every day.

You'll lead by example, supporting and motivating your team while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained throughout every shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
