Dairy Partners Limited in Stonehouse, United Kingdom, is seeking a hands-on Section Leader to head a production area in our food manufacturing operation. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of around 15 colleagues, driving performance while upholding food safety, quality and hygiene.

This role features fixed night shifts Monday to Thursday with every weekend off, offering a leadership path to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and develop your team.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production leadership.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards is advantageous.
• Confident communicator who leads by example.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of ~15 employees to meet production targets.
• Drive productivity, line efficiency and KPI performance while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Maintain food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Oversee machinery operation and line changes in collaboration with Engineering.
• Manage training, attendance, holiday cover and team performance.
• Monitor production performance and identify improvements.

Four nights a week. Every weekend free.

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Section Leader to join our food manufacturing operation. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of around 15 colleagues, driving production performance while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and hygiene.

The role

You’ll take ownership of your production area, ensuring people, machinery and materials are effectively managed to deliver production targets safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of approximately 15 employees.
• Driving productivity, line efficiency and KPI performance while minimising downtime and waste.
• Maintaining food safety, quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Overseeing machinery operation, basic maintenance and line changeovers, working closely with Engineering to resolve issues.
• Managing training, attendance, holiday cover and team performance.
• Monitoring production performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

About you

You’ll have experience leading a team in a manufacturing or production environment, with a practical approach to problem-solving and a strong focus on safety, quality and results. Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards would be advantageous.

You’ll be a confident communicator who leads by example, takes ownership and knows how to get the best out of a team.
