Job summary

Brookes HC Recruitment Ltd is recruiting two experienced Team Leaders for residential care services in Birmingham. The roles require medication-trained leadership to guide staff in delivering person-centred care across shifts.

Locations include Hockley and Handsworth, with 37.5 hours per week and day shifts (8am–8pm). Sponsorship is not available; candidates must have right to work in the UK and previous senior care experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior care, senior support or team leader role.
• Medication training and experience administering medication.
• Experience supporting adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
• Availability for day shifts.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support colleagues during shifts.
• Deliver respectful, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
• Administer medication within your training and assessed competency, following procedures.
• Maintain accurate medication records, care notes and handovers.
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Adapt your communication to each person’s needs.
• Respond appropriately to concerns and changes in residents’ wellbeing.
