DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINK
- Ensure the team delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production.
- Follow the 11-Step Production Process for safety and quality.
- Prioritize customer needs without compromising quality or freshness.
- Use and follow How to Cards consistently to meet Pret standards.
- Conduct successful Line Checks and implement improvements as needed.
- Avoid displaying Made to Sell (MTS) rejects in our Langars.
- Continuously develop the team’s knowledge of food and coffee quality.
- Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made to the highest standard by trained staff.
- Maintain Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards for team and customer safety.
- Monitor and record safety checks accurately.
- Take immediate corrective actions on issues affecting customers, team, or sales.
- Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and well-maintained equipment.
- Apply MBWA principles to monitor standards and see the shop through customers’ eyes.
- Report and escalate quality issues diligently.
- Maximize sales, efficiency, and profit through the Big 4: Forecasting, Rota, Ordering, and Production.
- Accurately carry out ordering in line with business needs.
- Lead and follow up on Mystery Shopper requirements.
- Maintain good stock control following the 7 Steps of Unaccounted.
- Adhere to Pret’s Financial Standards to minimize risks and ensure safety.
- Follow merchandising guidelines and utilize marketing effectively to boost sales.
GROWING SALES
- Follow merchandising guidelines and leverage marketing to increase sales.

- Promote clear and engaging communication between kitchen and FOH to meet business needs.
