Job summary

Two Saints is seeking a compassionate Team Leader for our Portsmouth service. You will lead a dedicated team to support people experiencing homelessness and care leavers, helping them build confidence and essential life skills through positive, outcome-focused interactions.

The role emphasises safeguarding, policy adherence, and collaborative teamwork, with a focus on empowering clients to progress toward their goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest and concern for homelessness and related issues.
• Ability to positively contribute to and lead a team.
• Deal promptly and effectively with challenging situations/crises in a calm manner.
• Strong communication skills, clear verbal and written English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Confident with lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the team to deliver person-centred support.
• Support clients to build confidence and life skills to achieve goals.
• Safeguard clients and work within organisational policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and clients both verbally and in writing.
• Monitor and report on service delivery, outcomes and risks.
• Maintain lone-working safety and incident response procedures.
