The role focuses on delivery of maintenance, on-site supervision, and leadership of the workforce with responsibility for operations, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Good people management skills.
• Able to adapt to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
• Experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery.
• Good IT knowledge.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• PA1 & PA6 is desirable.
• Aware of relevant Health & Safety legislation.
• Reliable and conscientious and able to work on their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in the effective delivery of programmed maintenance.
• Take responsibility for on-site works, including timekeeping, productivity for breaks, dealing with visitors and deliveries.
• Lead by example, motivate the team and maintain workforce discipline.
• Operate and manage company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care, ensuring daily checks and servicing are recorded.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Supervisor
