Job summary

Norfolk County Council is seeking a Team Leader for Green Spaces to drive delivery of ambitious biodiversity and environmental projects across the county. You will lead a skilled team, manage stakeholders, and work with partners to create and maintain spaces that benefit communities and nature.

The role is based at County Hall, Norwich with hybrid working options. It requires strong leadership, delivery experience, and a passion for improving green spaces for people and wildlife.

Team Leader – Green Spaces | 11045 | Temporary Contract to 31 October 2028 | 37 hours per week | £39,862 to £41,771 per annum | (Grade J) | County Hall, Norwich / Hybrid

Help create greener, healthier places for people and nature across Norfolk.

We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills, experience of delivering projects, and a passion for improving places for people and nature. You will be an inspiring and enthusiastic Team Leader who will drive delivery of ambitious green infrastructure and environmental projects that enhance biodiversity, support nature recovery and create lasting benefits for communities.

This is an opportunity to lead a skilled team, influence real change on the ground, and work with partners, landowners and communities to create and improve the spaces that people value most.

We're looking for someone who can turn ambition into action, bringing together partners, communities and colleagues to deliver high-quality projects that enhance Norfolk's natural environment and leave a lasting legacy.
