Job summary

Aligra Basingstoke is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to lead the night shift on a Sunday to Thursday schedule, 22:00–07:00, with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.

You will manage inbound deliveries, stock put-away, and the loading of outbound vehicles, ensuring labels, manifests and routes are correct, while maintaining health and safety standards. Forklift competency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, despatch, or logistics roles.
• Counterbalance forklift licence (ABA or RTITB accredited) is required.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet vehicle loading deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift team to process incoming deliveries accurately from the hub.
• Oversee stock put-away into dispatch racks with correct labelling and organisation.
• Supervise loading of outbound vehicles, ensuring loads match manifests for multi-drop routes.
• Maintain health & safety standards, including equipment checks and PPE enforcement.
• Provide clear briefings and handovers for smooth team communication.
• Cover Night Shift Manager duties as required, including site opening and operational decisions.

Pay & Shifts:

• £16.32 per hour (£33,945 per annum)
• Sunday to Thursday
• 22:00am to 07:00am

What You’ll Be Doing:
