Job summary

Choice Care is seeking a Team Leader to guide a team of social care workers in a residential setting. The role requires experience in care, strong leadership, and a commitment to high-quality person-centred support. There is a focus on safety, communication with seniors, and continuous improvement within the home.

You will work 37.5 hours per week with fixed-term maternity cover. The role involves shift work, weekends on a rota, and flexible patterns to fit personal commitments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting.
• Support the home management and liaise with managers and shift leaders.
• Ensure professional, timely and accurate task execution by the team.
• Oversee mealtimes and assist residents with daily activities.
• Encourage residents during activities and day-to-day tasks.
