Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Team Leader to join the Worcester Meadow Court team. You will supervise Care Workers, schedule tasks, support with medication and personal care, and participate in the on-call rota to ensure continuous care delivery.

The role supports elderly and disabled clients in their own homes within the community. The successful candidate will have prior Team Leader experience advantageous, an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (Level 3 pursued), strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care; working towards Level 3.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in line with clients’ needs and expectations.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Care Workers; supervise meetings and provide support to the team.
• Schedule and allocate work to Care Workers, ensuring care tasks are client-specific and personal care is provided.
• Assist with medication and personal care tasks; provide community support.
• Participate in the on-call rota and cover housing-related duties when emergency cover is required.

Radis Community Care have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based in Worcester at Meadow Court.

About the role

As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.

You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Shift patterns - 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, and 9am-5pm.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
