Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at Cullum Road, IP33 3PB.
Cullum Road offers 32 one- and two-bedroom apartments for older people who want to maintain an independent lifestyle while having the reassurance of a dedicated care team on site.
At this time, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.
This is a full-time position, 50/50 care and admin, including a mixture of care shifts (7am - 2pm and 2pm - 9pm) and office hours (9am - 5pm). The contract is for 37.5 hours per week.
About the role
As a Team Leader, you will support our extra care complex by providing specialized support to individuals. Radis recognizes each person as an individual and offers a unique service tailored to their specific needs, ensuring a consistent approach throughout their lives.
You will be the first point of contact for the care package, conducting supervisions and meetings with Care Workers. Your responsibilities include scheduling and allocating work, ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client-specific, supporting with medication, personal care, and community support.
You will also participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing-related support duties during emergencies.

Skills and qualifications required
Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have or be working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, aiming for Level 3. Good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential. The role requires an enhanced DBS check. A driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not mandatory.
