Job description

Radis Community Care - Full Time Team Leader Position

Radis Community Care is seeking a Full Time Team Leader to join our team based in Exning, Newmarket.

About Exning Court: It comprises 34 one and two-bedroom apartments designed to help local residents maintain independence and control over their lives. The entire site is wheelchair accessible.

Position Details: This is a full-time role, involving a 50/50 split between care duties and administrative tasks, including a mix of care shifts (7am - 2pm and 2pm - 9pm) and office hours (9am - 5pm). The contract is for 37.5 hours per week.

Note: Currently, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will support our extra care complex by providing specialized support tailored to individual needs. You will be the primary contact for the care package, conducting supervision sessions and meetings with Care Workers, scheduling and allocating work, and ensuring personal and care tasks are client-specific. Additionally, you will support medication administration, personal care, and community engagement.

You will participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care and housing support duties when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to client needs.

An enhanced DBS check is mandatory. A driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not required.
