Job summary

TDA Care Solutions is recruiting a Team Leader for a Children's Residential Home in Preston. You will provide leadership and direction to staff, oversee shifts, and ensure high standards of safeguarding and child welfare in a busy residential setting.

The role requires experience with children in care, knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and care planning, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Desirable:

• Previous experience within a senior or shift leading residential childcare role
• Knowledge and understanding of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Experience of leading shifts within a residential care environment
• Experience of safeguarding and incident management
• Experience of contributing to risk assessments and care planning
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and relationship based approaches
• Experience of mentoring or supporting staff
• Experience of quality assurance or auditing care records

Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or recognised equivalent, or willingness and ability to achieve the required qualification within applicable regulatory timescales
• Relevant leadership or management qualification is desirable
