Overview

A Children's Residential Care Team Leader is sought to support the service manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. This role involves providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower the team in helping the children they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

About you

Successful applicants will need to have experience supporting children with learning disabilities. You will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables children and young people to be as independent as possible, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and have a fun, fulfilling life.

• You must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis.
• Be working towards or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Demonstrate your ability to lead a successful team, sharing experience and best practice.
