Job summary

Athena Care Homes in Peterborough is seeking a Team Leader to guide and support our care team, delivering high-quality care and a warm, respectful environment for residents.

The role focuses on leadership, supervision and delivering clinical duties with compassion. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required, with opportunities for development through funded training.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.25, with flexible shifts and enhancements on bank holidays.

As a Team Leader at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and delivering high quality care.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home:

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.

The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.

About the role:

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key part with care delivery in the home. Our Team Leader supports us to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

Development from this role can take you onto CHAPS or nursing positions, and we offer fully funded apprenticeships to help you achieve an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Salary:

£15.25 per hour (this includes a 12.1% uplift in lieu of accrued holiday pay).

Shift Pattern:

Flexible shift pattern across Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:

Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.
